My Background

Growing up I quickly discovered a passion for science and the human body, so I got my Master's in Biomedical Sciences.

With 18 years as a clinical scientist in the pharmaceutical industry, R&D (Janssen Pharmaceutica, Johnson & Johnson), I have developed expertise in all stages of document creation. I ensured scientific knowledge & insights guiding the clinical development of several investigational compounds and contributed to the approval of multiple antiviral drugs (HIV, HCV).

- Effective Written Communication: I prepared, reviewed, and edited various documents compliant with regulatory guidelines, co-authored over 25 publications in scientific journals such as Nature and AIDS and presented over 35 abstracts at international meetings. 

- Scientific Knowledge & Data Analysis: I critically analyzed experimental and (pre)clinical data, designed and surveilled (pre)clinical studies, and performed literature reviews, creating concise summaries for team discussions.

- Organization & Teamwork: I collaborated globally with vendors & colleagues in various roles, managed timely finalization of documents, managed quality control procedures, monitored clinical trials, maintained a sample database, set up data flows and analyzed lab results.
